A Woman's Walk with God

Devotional Bible Study Book

This new edition of A Woman's Walk with God was updated to include the daily Scripture Readings, making it easier to use and ideal for busy people. Each week includes a brief chapter, a daily one-page study, application questions, and a Scripture prayer. This devotional Bible study is perfect for individuals or groups.

Perhaps your quiet time with God isn't necessarily quality time. You desire to come away from devotions feeling renewed and refreshed, but you don't. So how do you move from the reality of your everyday life with it's distractions, disruptions, and dry times to the realm of wondrous possibility?

How can you discover the joys of a more committed friendship with the Lord? How do you develop a rich, devotional lifestyle that meets your heartfelt needs without ignoring your daily concerns and responsibilities? A Woman's Walk With God is the place to start. Between the creative devotional ideas and the weekly themes that build on each other, this "Bible study about how to have a devotional lifestyle" will help you fashion the kind of spiritual life you've longed for, one that is practical, personal, and a continuous source of refreshment.

Experiencing Christ Bible Bookstore

Welcome to our Bible Bookstore. We are offering a line of Bibles and books, which include many different Bible translations, classics, and serious reading for serious spiritual growth. The works of most of the authors have had a profound spiritual impact on my life. Most recently the Lord, has been speaking to me and my prayer partner through that magnificent devotional book, Streams in the Desert. My favorites are devotional books, and you will find plenty of classics to choose from. I certainly haven't read all of the books offered here, that would be impossible. It is my prayer that the book offered here are biblically sound and that you will grow in faith as you read them.

New Beginnings

"Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he" (Isaiah 41:4 NLT).

Each day th e morning delivers a sunrise, a brilliant white new beginning or ending for that matter. Even when clouds hide the sunrise, the sun still rises and the sky shines behind the darkness. "Through the heartfelt mercies of our God, God's Sunrise will break in upon us, Shining on those in the darkness, those sitting in the shadow of death, Then showing us the way, one foot at a time, down the path of peace" (Luke 1:78-79 MSG).

God shines on us in our darkness and shows us the way one step at a time, one prayer at a time down the pathway of life. In order to travel on that road in the shadows we need wisdom, which begins with our fear and respect for the LORD (Prov. 9:10). By meditating on and reading the Word of God we gain those much-needed insights.

As we seek the Lord for godly wisdom, here is a Scripture prayer to offer Him with humble and sincere hearts:

As your child, Lord, I will listen to what You say, and treasure Your commands. Teach me how to tune my ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. Help me as I cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. Yes, Lord, I will search for them as I would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. Then I will understand what it truly means to fear You, Lord, and I will gain knowledge of You, O God. For Lord, You grant wisdom! From Your mouth come knowledge and understanding. You grant a treasure of common sense to the honest. You are a shield to those who walk with integrity. You guard the path of the just and protect those who are faithful to You. Then I will understand what is right, just, and fair, and I will find the right way to go. May wisdom enter my heart, and knowledge fill me with joy. May wise choices watch over me, and understanding keep me safe. Yes, Lord, teach me to number my days, that I may gain a heart of wisdom (Prov. 2:1-11 NLT; Ps. 90:12 NKJV).
